CURRICULUM & PATHWAYS
In Stage 5 (Yrs 9-10) curriculum is built on a core that equips them for Stage 6 (Yrs 11-12) including a range of interest electives. At the completion of Stage 5, students are eligible for a Record of School Achievement.
Students then enter Stage 6 to study for their Higher School Certificate (HSC). The HSC course is studied in Years 11 & 12 with students learning, studying and completing exams for three subjects in both years. A wide range of academic and vocational (VET) subjects are available. Students who wish to pursue tertiary education after school will receive an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR).

ABOUT VET
Students can choose from a variety of VET (Vocational Education and Training) courses. These courses are either studied in Years 11 or 12. Almost all courses lead to nationally recognised Australian Qualifications Framework qualifications, and can provide a head start towards a career and a pathway to further study.
Subjects include Hospitality, Automotive, Christian Ministry & Theology, Electro Technology, Construction, Entertainment, Retail, Tourism, Sport & Recreation and more. A full list of courses along with RTO course numbers can be found in our Stage 6 Studies Handbook.
